Hypertensive disease – heart-to-heart talk

Many people diagnosed with hypertension are usually mistaken, believing that:

  • The disease will sooner or later overtake almost everyone, that is, it is almost impossible to avoid it;
  • Every person with a periodic pressure increase is forced to take pills to reduce it for the term of one’s life;
  • Tablets are required to reduce the pressure and maintain it «normal»;
  • If one does not reduce the pressure, a stroke can occur;
  • Stroke is a brain hemorrhage caused by the rupture of cerebral blood vessels due to a very high pressure;
These are nothing more than stereotypes hammered into the heads of people in order to increase the number of BP-lowering drugs consumers. No one is aware that these drugs are very dangerous. Therefore, it is necessary to explain in what way they are dangerous. Up to 35 million strokes annually occur in the world; about 30% of patients die almost immediately. No more than 20% of people who have suffered stroke get back to work.

The rest become handicapped and need assistance. However, very few people (with the exception of doctors) know what a stroke is and why it occurs.

Stroke is an acute cerebrovascular accident or disturbed circulation of blood in the brain. Stroke is divided into two main types, and the table below may seem a revelation to some (especially the last line):

Hemorrhagic stroke:

  • Cerebral hemorrhage caused by very high pressure;
  • Approximately 15 – 20% of all strokes are hemorrhagic;

Ischemic stroke:

  • Insufficient blood flow to the brain structure as a result of very low pressure;
  • Approximately 80 – 85% of all strokes are ischemic;

So if you thought that a stroke was extremely high blood pressure, you were wrong! Much more often it occurs as a result of low pressure artificially reduced with pills. According to the laws of physics, at the decrease of pressure the blood flow also decreases, and so does the delivery of oxygen to the brain cells. Even a small overdose can cause acute shortage of oxygen, that is, ischemic stroke.

Hypertensive disease treatmentDoctors are aware that one of the main causes of stroke is high blood pressure medications. Nevertheless, what does a local therapist do when the indicators on the blood pressure monitor exceed the norm? That’s right; he/she assigns antihypertensive drugs, i.e. drugs that reduce blood pressure. Cardiovascular diseases claim millions of lives each year; more than cancer and various infections do.

Hypertension is considered incurable, but the doctors persistently cure it with medications and injections. No one has been cured from the disease so far, but who cares? ‘It is the process that is important, not the result’, they say. The biggest business is based on people’s health.

This occurs because people who suffer from the most common disease in the world have a distorted view on it, which often entails very serious consequences. Millions of people around the world put themselves at danger of getting cerebral stroke on a daily basis by believing that high blood pressure medications are the cure.

Treatment of essential hypertension should be aimed at circulation normalization, that is, the elimination of the cause of disease rather than a “clumsy” pressure reduction, which deliberately leads to a deterioration of the cerebral circulation, and to stroke, even.

This raises the question: the pressure does not elevate for no reason, does it? After all, what is high blood pressure? It is, in fact, the body’s striving to improve the blood supply to organs and tissues by increasing the blood flow pressure. That is, to ensure the supply of oxygen and other substances necessary for the normal functioning. By increasing the blood pressure, the brain protects itself from a stroke.

Hypertensive disease treatmentWhat happens when we impede this self-regulation by artificial means? The organ that requires blood circulation enhancement does not get what it needs, and the disease (not hypertension itself, but the one that caused hypertension) progresses. Our body does not accept this situation and tends to increase blood pressure once again. In turn, the hypertension progresses. It is a vicious circle.

Meanwhile, the state of the diseased organ, the access of the necessary substances to which is decreased and reduced, continues to deteriorate.

Therefore, we consider the increase in pressure as a compensatory response and determine the cause that prevents the normal blood supply to a particular organ. After finding the cause, we eliminate it. The blood supply normalizes, and the organism itself reduces the pressure, because it is no longer necessary to increase it.

In the Kupeev Clinic, we do not treat hypertension; instead, we find its cause, eliminate it, and the disease disappears.
